Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research aims to: (1) analyze the allocation of working hours of women farmers in rubber farm household activity. (2) to analyze the influence of income wives against husbands income, age, education, number of children under five, and the household consuption of rubber farmers against the allocation of labor of women farmers in the district of Middle Katingan. The basic method used in this research is survey method. To answer the first goal analyzed descriprively. To answer the second goal barganda using linear regression analysis with ordinary least squares method (Ordinary Leas-Square). Respondent with Simple Random Sampling with a total of 62 respondents women farmers. The results showed that the allocation of working hours of women farmers in the activity of household rubber farmers had a contribution of 39,3% compared to the working hours of men in the village of Samba Kahayan, and amounted to 38,02% in the District of Tumbang Lahang Middle Katingan. Income wife/women farmer positive effect on the household economy as well as household expenditure women farmers in rubber farming and significant positive effect on the working day of women farmers. As for age, education and number of children under five showed negative results in this research on the working hours of women farmers.
